Do you have layover in Almaty airport?

Do not spend your time in small and crowded building of the airport, which actually soon will be enlarged as the new larger terminal is now under construction. But at present time it is not very comfortable and sometimes even not easy to find sitting place.

So, if you have 3-4 and more hours, I invite you to Almaty short sightseeing tour. You will see the former capital of Kazakhstan, its largest and most developed city with long history.

I would advise you to visit these places during you transit time in Almaty:

• Zenkov Cathedral and 28 Panfilov soldiers park. It is one of the oldest park in city and the Cathedral survived not only Soviet times but also strong earthquake which happend before in 1911 and destroyed almost all othe buildings is city.
• Kok Tobe hilll
• Medeo/Shymbulak ski resort
• Independance Square
• Or just any other places you would like to visit
